Customizable Quick Actions bar
Two-row icon strip on the viewfinder; user-selectable order is planned.
Where to find it
Viewfinder bottom icon strip (two rows of ViewfinderIconButton)
Summary
The viewfinder shows a fixed two-row icon strip for the most-used toggles. The icon set and order are baked in today. Planned: let you pick which icons appear and arrange them so the bar matches how you actually shoot.
How it works
What ships today
Two rows of icons sit below the live preview. Row one carries the imaging toggles: Layers, Filter, Black and White, Histogram, Metering Mode, Composition Grid. Row two carries exposure tools and navigation: Tools, Framing, Film Stocks, Logs, Settings, Help. The set is the same for every user.
Current limitations
You cannot remove an icon you never use, you cannot swap an icon for one you would prefer, and you cannot reorder the strip to put your most-used tool first. The order is the order the dev team picked.
What's planned
A customize bar that lets you tap an icon to add or remove it, drag icons to reorder them, and pick replacements from the larger pool of available toggles (B&W contrast, false color, Kelvin badge, focus peaking, and so on). Your layout will persist per profile so each shooting style can have its own quick-action set.
Why this matters
Photographers shoot differently. A street shooter cares about Histogram and Metering Mode. A studio user cares about Filters and Kelvin. A large-format user cares about Bellows and Scheimpflug. A fixed bar serves none of them perfectly; a customizable bar serves each of them well.
