Glossary
Shutter speed
How long the shutter stays open to let light hit the film or sensor.
Shutter speeds are usually fractions of a second: 1/250, 1/60, 1/15. Slower speeds let more light in but blur motion; faster speeds freeze motion but need more light. The app supports a 1/8000 to multi-minute range, plus bulb mode for longer exposures and a built-in bulb timer.
