ISO

Also called: film speed, ASA

How sensitive your film or sensor is to light.

ISO 100 needs four times more light to expose properly than ISO 400. Higher ISO film grain is coarser; lower ISO film has finer grain. Common film stocks range from ISO 25 (very fine grain, slow) to ISO 3200 (very coarse grain, fast). The app supports ISO from 3 to 12800, including custom non-standard values so you can rate film at whatever speed you choose.
